Nursing mothers, including students, faculty, staff as well as visitors are welcome to use the lactation rooms. Each room offers a clean, secure, and private space for women who need to express milk during their time on-campus. All rooms are equipped with seating, table, and electrical outlets near the chair. All lactation room users are expected to clean up after each use of a room.
Below is a list of rooms with details about each location, how to access them and accommodations. Each room may be used for 30 minutes at a time.

The lactation room key may be checked out from the 1st Floor Circulation desk during that desk’s service hours.
*An SU ID or driver’s license will need to be presented. The staff at the 1st Floor Circulation desk can direct you to room 533.
Reservations may be made in advance if needed. The room is available on a first come, first served basis if not reserved.
The room may be used for 30 minutes at a time.

112 Falk College
This room is not kept locked. No reservations needed; available on a first come first served basis.
Directions: Enter through the doors on the right (MacNaughton) of the main entrance to the College. Once inside the lobby, the elevator is located in a corridor to the left. Take the elevator to the first floor. Turn to the left as you exit the elevator. Room 112 is on the right hand side of the hallway, just a short walk down the hall.

374 National Veterans Resource Center (NVRC)
The room is located on the 3rd floor of the NVRC which requires Syracuse University ID elevator access to the floor. The room is available on a first-come, first-served basis, however, you will need to contact Kimberly Lantry (315-430-8261) to arrange access to the third floor.
This room is not kept locked but can be locked for privacy. It also has a small whiteboard posted on the outside door to let others know when occupied.

113 Physics Building

Directions: Enter the building from the quad side, make an immediate left down the hallway. The lactation room is on the right-hand side before you reach the end of the hallway; the room is labeled 113.
