Syracuse University respects the important role of labor unions in the workplace and has collaborative relationships with five unions that represent approximately 2,700 university employees and graduate assistants. As part of the process, the University has agreed to a private election scheduled to take place on June 3 and June 4 to determine whether this group will form a new bargaining unit.
