Syracuse University is excited to announce we now offer continuing education for working professionals in the form of short courses. These flexible online courses are designed to strengthen your leadership capabilities and expand your expertise, positioning you for success in your career. We currently offer two courses through the Martin J. Whitman School of Business, and one course through the School of Information Studies — both with multiple start dates throughout the year:

Martin J. Whitman School of Business

Women as Business Leaders

This course aims to equip women in business with the critical skills needed to lead teams and increase their influence in the workplace. Students gain practical knowledge on subjects such as overcoming failure aversion, negotiating effectively, driving diversity and innovation, and promoting a strong personal brand.

Finance for Non-Financial Managers

Offering a holistic view of finance, this course focuses on more than just the quantitative aspects of financial decision-making. Students are given insight into corporate finance, how larger-scale organizations invest, and the effects that shareholders have on businesses.

School of Information Studies

Project Management: A Hybrid Approach

In this short course, you will learn contemporary project management methodologies for managing and integrating change, giving you the tools to improve project agility at your organization.
