Caring for aging loved ones while managing your professional responsibilities can be challenging.
Your FSAP can help!
Syracuse University recognizes the unique demands faced by employees who are also caregivers. Through the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), you have access to specialized eldercare and caregiving resources and confidential support designed to help you navigate this important role. Whether you’re just beginning to explore care options or managing ongoing responsibilities, we’re here to provide the guidance and resources you need.
To get started today, contact your FSAP (AllOne Health) by calling: 800.451.1834 (TTY: 711)
Eligibility for services: All members of the University community eligible to participate in the University’s FSAP plan, including benefits-eligible faculty and staff, retirees and their dependents.
Dependent Care Subsidy Program
In support of the changing needs of families, the University’s Dependent Care Subsidy Program provides subsidies to eligible faculty and staff to assist with caring for an adult dependent. The tax-free subsidy can be used to pay expenses on eligible dependent care costs provided by qualified caregivers. The subsidies are deposited into a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) on behalf of the eligible employee. Visit the Dependent Care Subsidy Program webpage to learn more.
