As part of Syracuse University’s ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery through technology, the Office of Human Resources has partnered with Information Technology Services (ITS) to transition its request management system to Orange Tracker, the University’s Jira Service Management platform. This strategic shift aligns with broader University initiatives to streamline operations and improve service experiences for faculty, staff, and students.
Effective July 15, 2025, Faculty and staff can continue to email hrservice@syr.edu with HR-related inquiries; messages will now route directly into the new Orange Tracker queue, providing greater visibility into request status and faster access to helpful resources and support. Employees are also encouraged to explore the new HR Service Portal, which offers self-service forms and knowledge articles.
