Bernice M. Wright School (BMW) has proudly served children and families of the Syracuse University community for the last 50 years. Our program provides full-time care to children of Syracuse University affiliated students, faculty, and staff.
BMW maintains a secure, creative environment in which to encourage each child’s development skills, and the teachers provide a variety of appropriate open-ended activities and experiences, which allow your child to create and experiment with their own ideas. Our natural outdoor playscape enhances the opportunity to further the children’s inquisitive need for adventure and exploration.
BMW provides high-quality, early childhood education for children between 2 and 5 years old. We base our philosophy on a constructivist-inquisitive child-centered approach. We are honored to be accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This organization requires that our program provides the highest quality of professional preparation for educators to meet national standards of quality and ensure developmentally appropriate practices for the children.
We look forward to the possibility of having your child with us in the future. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at 315.443.2471 for more information about our program.
