As a new supervisor to the University or newly promoted supervisor of benefits-eligible staff, this New Supervisor Orientation program will provide you with information on the University and various resources available to help you navigate within your role. This program offers a high-level overview of how to better understand and achieve University expectations by learning more about the “Big Picture” of Syracuse University and specific resources, offices and processes that will help you to be even more successful. In addition, these sessions will articulate specific expectations for supervisors about performance and their responsibility for compliance with key University requirements. Sessions include discussions and presentation overviews from senior leaders and several directors and campus partners.
The program is composed of three consecutive sessions, and attendance at all three sessions is required. New supervisors are encouraged to attend the New Supervisor Orientation within the first few months of starting in their supervisory role.
