Initially: Have a discussion with a HR representative to determine whether you would like to take your team through a StrengthsFinder Team Workshop.
Step 1: Determine who will be included in the workshop and identify possible dates for the workshop.
Step 2: Purchase the StrengthsFinder 2.0 or Strengths Based Leadership books. We will help you determine which book will be more appropriate for your team. Amazon tends to have the best prices on the books.
Step 3: Distribute the books and give people a deadline for completing the SF assessment.
- Use access code in the envelope in the back of the book to go online and take the assessment.
- The SF assessment will take about 30-45 minutes to complete.
- It is not necessary to read the book before taking the StrengthsFinder assessment.
Step 4: Determine the date/time/place for the workshop. Allocate three hours for workshop delivery.
Step 5: After completing the assessment, have people send a list of their top five strengths (in the order they appear in the report) to an administrator in your department.
Step 6: We will instruct the administrator on how to create the Team Grid and Table Tent Name Tags.
Step 7: Inform people to print out a copy of the reports they receive after taking the assessment and bring them to the workshop.
