Explore training offered through professional organizations CUPA-HR (College and University Professional Association for Human Resources). Ask your supervisor if your department has a membership in a professional association relevant to your interests.

DPS and Crime Prevention

Department of Public Safety (DPS) provides training including driver safety, ergonomics, and fire safety.  Or, increase your sense of personal safety when you learn more about crime prevention strategies.


Environmental Health and Safety Services (EHSS) provides training on safety and compliance regarding workplace hazards

Higher Education Recruitment Consortium

Syracuse University’s partnership with the Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC) provides learning opportunities in areas of interest to higher education professionals, such as diversity and compliance, recruitment and retention, work-life and family.

Learning opportunities available from ITS

Choose from over 4,000 courses that you can complete on-demand, at your convenience, from business skills and marketing, to audio and video production, to web design and CAD on Sign in using your NetID and password.

Safe Zone

Safe Zone is a campus-wide program provided by the LGBT Resource Center committed to making Syracuse University safer, more welcoming, and an inclusive environment for members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) community.

Remitted Tuition

Remitted Tuition provides credit hours for eligible employees/retirees and their spouses/same sex domestic partners for undergraduate and graduate study.
