iJAN and Online RAP are customized PeopleSoft components that allow departments to electronically communicate job and pay data to Human Resources and Payroll. Training is required to receive access to both iJAN and Online RAP.
New iJAN users should contact HR Shared Services at 443-4042 to register for training. After attending training, please have your Information Coordinator request iJAN access through FirstStep FAST. The connection to request is: Prod PS9.1 HCM HR/Payroll.
New RAP users should visit the Payroll Training website for further details regarding Online RAP training.
NOTE: Employee job actions that cannot be completed via iJAN should be submitted on the Alternative Job Transaction form [PDF].
Enhancements to IJAN and Online RAP
We are pleased to provide you the following video on iJAN enhancements. These enhancements will make it easier for those who enter iJANs for part-time instructors to accurately record the terms of those appointments. The enhancements will also provide an efficient way for you to report information needed for the University to comply with tax regulations and the Affordable Care Act for all employees. The Online RAP functionality has also been expanded to include two new payment types specific to faculty members represented by the Adjuncts United Union.
