While your years working at SU are complete, your connection to SU remains. Your hard work for the University during your career helped shape the SU of today. In return, SU continues to provide certain benefits to you in your retirement years. We encourage you to take advantage of these programs and services. You’ve earned them!

In order to participate in retiree benefits you must be at least age 55 and have at least five consecutive years of service as a Benefits Eligible Employee. You can find information regarding a variety of benefits and services available to eligible retired faculty and staff by using the navigation listed to the left or below.

Frequently Asked Questions about Retirement

Please contact the HR Service Center to update your mailing address, so you are sure to receive important tax forms and other mailings.

If you are enrolled in the retiree medical plan, please contact the retiree billing administrator, POMCO, toll-free at 877.461.7844 with any address updates.  If you left your retirement account open at TIAA, you should contact them also at 855.842.2873.  Review the contact list for other benefit administrators.
