Performance Partnership Training Sessions
Training sessions are now available for both supervisors and staff to assist with the completion of the Performance Partnership forms [DOC] forms. Sessions for those utilizing the calendar year cycle (January – December) have been completed and sessions for those using the fiscal year cycle (July – June) will be scheduled in March and April.
The following schools, colleges, and units have selected the calendar year: Arts & Sciences, School of Education, Graduate School, ITS, iSchool, Maxwell, Library, Office of Board of Trustees.
The following schools, colleges and units have selected the fiscal year: Academic Affairs, Advancement & External Affairs, Architecture, Athletics, Business Finance & Administrative Services, Chancellor’s Department, Engineering & Computer Science, Enrollment and Student Experience, FALK, General Counsel, Human Resources, IVMF & Veteran’s Affairs, Law, includes BBI, Newhouse School of Public Communications, Public Affairs (and Marketing and Communications), SUAbroad, University College, VPA, Whitman, Hendricks Chapel.
The Supervisor session is designed to ensure the Performance Partnership process, including both form completion and the subsequent meeting between supervisor and staff member is productive and effective. The training will review providing accurate and honest feedback, navigating difficult conversations with employees, communicating performance expectations and creating goals with staff that will help advance the initiatives of the University.
The Performance Partnership Staff session is designed to provide assistance to staff participating in the Performance Partnership process. The training will assist staff in effectively assessing their past accomplishments, reviewing opportunities for improvement, establishing SMART goals for the future and discussing future professional development needs.
In addition, open sessions will be scheduled for both supervisory and staff sessions. If you are unable to attend the session scheduled specifically for your school, college or unit, or if your school, college, or unit does not schedule their own specific session, you are welcome to attend one of the open sessions.
